For example, if your children watch television when they are hungry, you might want to turn the common core example into a story about how y ou would handle this situation yourself, if you were a parent.Second, try to find a common core example that has some sort of moral. Tell yourself how it would feel to be a good person if you had this character or situation in your life. Just like you learn grammar rules from books, you can learn grammar rules by watching examples and then applying them in your own life.Third, look for examples that relate to your grade level in school, if you are taking the common core example. This way, if you are struggling with an essay, you can learn a few examples that you think will help you if you are dealing with this subject matter in school. That way, when you go back to school, you know what you need to be thinking about to answer the specific writing skills question you are going to be asked.Fourth, think about how long you have been writing essays if you are taking a common core example. If you are struggling with a topic that you are writing an essay on, but you haven't been writing e ssays since grade school, you might need to re-think what you are writing about.Fifth, if you are taking a common core example from one of the tests in your school, like a short essay, you may want to start there. Instead of starting your essay with your favorite movie or song, start your essay by briefly introducing the topic and then tell us about your favorite parts of it. This will make it easier for you to get your point across.Common core essays can be tricky, but the main thing is that you need to write your essay, and this can be done. You just need to find a sample that matches your topic, your grade level and your writing skills. Use those examples and write your essay just like you are writing them.
